What courses do you offer?
Currently we are offering B1 Counterbalance, S2 Traffic Marshall, MH Manual Handling, D1 Reach truck and A1 low lift platform and low lift order picking trucks
How long are the courses and what do they cost?
Each course is dependent on level of experience, whether Novice, Conversion, Experience Operator or Refresher. A day is 8 hours with a maximum of 37 hours for a full week, normally for a novice course. Cost will be discussed upon contact.
Where are the courses run?
The courses will run on customer premises due to not having a workshop myself.
Do you provide the equipment?
The equipment will need to be supplied by the customer/employer.
Do I need to bring my own safety equipment?
Ideally safety footwear and hi-viz should be worn. Hard hats to be worn when required and can be provided if possible.
Will I receive a certificate at the end of the course?
After the course has finished you will receive a certificate and if an accredited course a certificate and ID card from AITT will be issued
Do I need refresher training after a period of time?
After 3 years a refresher is required to keep your skills up to date
Will I need to take an exam?
There are exams to take at the end of the course these, include, theory, pre-operational check and practical. If any part is failed, then you only need to re-sit the part you failed.
Are you accredited?
Yes, I'm accredited with AITT.
How many people can attend the course?
Depending on the course type required it is generally a maximum of 3 people when using equipment.
Are there any pre-requisites before attending a course??
A booking form should be completed and sent back to myself with relevant details on it, individuals are expected to inform the instructor of any difficulties they may encounter on the course so the instructor can modify accordingly. Once the booking form has been received a deposit or purchase order needs to be sent to myself. Applicants must be 16 years old or over.
How do I book?
Once initial contact has been made, a booking form will be sent out, this needs to be completed and sent back. I will then contact you to discuss and finalise the booking details. A deposit or purchase order number is required 7 days before the training is due to start.
